Record unemployment

A great deal of press in the last few days has been about the increase in the unemployment rate. The news reports that this is the highest unemployment rate since 1983 and President Reagan and it is the worst economy since the 1970's and President Carter. Much of the press has been about how this President or that President was better or worse or more or less to blame.
I have come to the conclusion that regardless of who is to blame we should focus on the solutions rather than who caused the problem. I am thankful that I am still employed and my life has not been significantly affected by the current economic crisis. I seems to be my duty to help others to see the benefits of dedication and hard work. I have several people who currently work for me outside of their chosen profession. They are working jobs that are "below their pay grade." They come from several economic and racial backgrounds yet they are some of the hardest working individuals I have met.
These people have shown me the true spirit of our founding fathers. They work hard, give their best and regardless of the task they are reliable and responsible. Perhaps I should be learning from them rather than the other way around.
