One of my favorite christmas stories is "How the Grinch stole Christmas". I love the transformation that he makes when he realizes the real meaning of Christmas. I am going to do my best to recite it from memory so here goes:
And the Grinch, with his feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling. How could it be so? It came with out ribbon, it came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. He puzzled and puzzled till his puzzler was sore, then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. Maybe Chirstmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.
Here is hoping we all take the time to make this Christmas about "a little bit more". Merry Christmas everyone.
