"All up in my uterus"

Mississippi is voting on an initiative that would designate the beginning of life at the time of conception.  Initiative 26 is controversial at best and is causing quite a stir.  I read an article about this on cnn.com.  Here is the link http://www.cnn.com/2011/11/08/us/mississippi-personhood-amendment/index.html?hpt=hp_bn2
It raised a couple of interesting issues such as if a person were to kill a pregnant mother then the state can charge them with 2 murders.  One for the mother and one for the unborn baby.  But that same mother can go out and abort that baby without any crime being committed.
Another was how this will, if at all, affect the Roe v. Wade decision.  There is concern by some that women will no longer be allowed to have abortions and that even miscarriages could be investigated as a crime.  One of these people is Cristen Hemmins.  She is concerned about the government involvement and she offers what I believe is the quote of the year.  She said, "It seems so obvious to me that it is far-reaching and it is going to be big government getting all up in my uterus."
While I can't argue with her idea that her uterus is not the government's business I do like the approach to find some consistency in this issue.
I will watch with interest on how this plays out.  This is quite possibly the most interesting political story of the day.
